How well does the manufacture stand behind their product? That is one of the primary factors we consider when sourcing materials. Once we install your new roof we activate your warranty with the Manufacture to ensure you're protected in that unlikely event.
The short answer is yes. Shingle manufactures raised prices 7 times in 2022. Unfortunately, an order doesn't reserve the price quoted at that given time. My advice is, if the material is not going to compromise the quality and you found a shingle you like, go for it. The roofing industry pricing has gone one direction thru multiple recessions.... UP!
